AMBULANCE SERVICE - There are three rapid response cars in Wolverhampton - Photos of the Responder vehicles are in the Photo's section ! Recently the Vectra responder was destroyed in an crash, whilst on route to an Incident. Now a *new* response car (Volvo V70) has taken it's place.

FIRE SERVICE - West Midlands Fire Service use DENNIS 'Sabre" fire engines. There is also a Simon Snorkel and other special units based in and around the fire stations of Wolverhampton.

POLICE- There are four police stations in Wolverhampton. West Midlands Police mainly use 307's, Astras and Focus's as 'Panda cars'. Volvo S70's are used for traffic vehicles. There is also a unmarked car used for under cover police work in Wolverhampton. Iveco and LDV vans are used for mass transportation. 

OTHER - On the motorways around Wolverhampton , HATO's (Highways Agency Traffic Officers) assist the police in there duties. VOSA (Vehicles Operating Standards Agency) also partol the roads of the Midlands.
